Corbin Company, SEKRI, Switches Production to Coronavirus Masks
Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries (SEKRI) in Corbin produce products for the military, including: caps, fire-retardant shirts and first-aid kits. The company shifted production to cloth masks to help deal with a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for police, firefighters, ambulance crews and medical staffers. The company committed to making 275,000 masks and will likely take six to eight weeks to complete the order.
